The Insurance Scholarship Foundation of America was founded by the members of the National Association of Insurance Women (International) in 1993, to provide scholarships to college students preparing for a career in the insurance industry, and for men and women working in the insurance industry seeking to improve their career opportunities.

scholarship winner

Our Scholarships

College Scholarships are awarded to juniors and seniors whose course of study is working toward a degree in Insurance, Risk Management and Actuarial Science.

Professional Scholarships are awarded to men and women currently working in the insurance industry, pursuing a designation program, studying other industry courses, or completing their college degree

Our scholarships are awarded twice a year. To learn more or download an application, visit our application page.

February - To be considered for a February scholarship, coursework must be completed between August 1, 2008 and July 31, 2009. Deadline for February awards is December 1, 2008.

October - To be considered for an October scholarship, coursework must be completed between April 1, 2008 and March 31, 2009. Deadline for October awards is August 1, 2008.
